Beginning at Devil's Postpile National Monument near Red's Meadow, I made my way solo for three days North along the John Muir Trail and one day South along the Pacific Crest Trail. Because most PCT thru hikers travel northward, I had the fortune of passing many awesome hikers on their way to the Canadian border in the North Cascades. It was a challenging 4-days, but this short joining of two epic trails in the U.S. was incredibly rewarding.
